1934, Ischia Island

Pietro Scaglione, a young entrepreneur, future founder and pioneer of the company, settles on the island. He meets Assunta Trani from Ischia, falls in love with her and marries her after a few months. She is Ischian, magical and unique, with the same overwhelming passion, he decides to open a fabric shop. Pietro has been in charge of a drapery shop in Naples for a long time, the city where he was born, and he is aware that he has already acquired the right experience to start a commercial activity. For the first 20 years, the center of his business is in Via Roma, in the heart of the island's capital. Then, in 1953, Pietro Scaglione builds a building in Via Alfredo De Luca, the current Historical boutique; demonstrating his courage, pioneering spirit and foresight. Alongside the fabrics, he creates a small department of the then nascent "packaging", and combines it with an organized men's/women's tailoring service. And the definitive turning point towards success. Today we are a beautiful reality: 6 boutiques on the island of Ischia, online e-shop and a line of thought: Style, fashion and trends from 1934 to today.
